PRAY Psalm 119 for the 119th Congress - "Great peace have they who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble." Psalm 119:165

PRAY for the Speaker and 435 members to hear God’s voice above any other voice by making time for the spiritual disciplines of prayer and daily reading of God’s Word; even more difficult with the busyness of our lives and the culture.

PRAY for the Speaker to be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power, may the Speaker and his staff put on the full armor of God and be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil--put on the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shoes of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. Stay alert and be persistent. Ephesians 6:10-17

Pray for Speaker Mike Johnson to be a "mighty warrior" Psalm 45:3 "...defending truth, humility, and justice. Go forth to perform awe-inspiring deeds." Psalm 45: 4 "Open his mouth and fill it with good things," Psalm 81:10

We pray that Speaker Mike Johnson will hear the Lord’s voice—the voice of truth, the voice that says this is the path…walk in it above any other voice. "Your path (God's path) led through the sea, Your way (God's way) through the mighty waters, a pathway no one knew was there!" - Psalm 77:19 But God!

PRAY for God’s Word to "renew the Speaker's mind." - Romans 12:2 May God's Word be hidden in his heart - Psalm 119:11, and on his lips— "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom." - Proverbs 9:10 ”But for you who fear My Name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in His wings.” - Malachi 4:2 “So Jesus said to those who had believed Him, ‘If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’” - John 8:31-32

We pray for the wisdom of Solomon—otherwise, it appears to be an impossible task. God gave King Solomon 'wisdom and very great insight, and a breadth of understanding as measureless as the sand on the seashore' I Kings 4:29

We pray for strength and courage for the demands of each day. 'But You, O LORD...are the lifter of my head.' Psalm 3:3

We pray for marriages to be bound together with cords that cannot be broken and for protection and grace upon their children “…and the two are united into one. Since they are no longer two but one, let no one split apart what God has joined together.” Mark 10:8-9

We pray for joy and health in their homes. "...pouring out the oil of joy on you..." Psalm 45:7

We pray for congressional staff to be wise counselors and good ‘Aarons and Hurs.’ "When Moses' arms grew tired, Aaron and Hur...held up his arms, holding them steady until the sun went down. In this way, Joshua totally defeated the Amalekites." - Exodus 17:12-14
